Huns with a cane.

Looks like they haven’t shut my blog yet. Finally getting out at least with a cane. Doctors orders to only stay on roads with cane. I tried hard but as all of you know, you can’t walk off and leave your dog on point. So I did a little cross country very carefully. You can tell that by the way my phone video wandered. I’m envious of you guys being out there chasing chukars on these blue bird January days. My old boy Jake, has pretty much quit hunting but looking for bones to chew on. I was tickled to see he either got a snoot full or honored. Also, I usually keep my mouth shut. Guess I’m just happy to be out there.

Oh yea. I’m positive I would have got a double on all three of these hun flushes. Someone out there might believe that.

I just watched the video. Sorry it was so poor.

Hunting has been a favorite past time for me for 55 years but the last twenty five years I have been consumed by chukar hunting and more specifically chukar hunting with fantastic dogs. In this blog I hope to pass on any information I can about chukar hunting but more than anything I want to showcase what will probably be my last two chukar dogs, Jake and Grady. I am 70 years old, Jake is 8 and Grady is 3 and I'm hoping to stay on the chukar mountain until I am 80 when Grady will be fetching my final chukars.
